Thailand

The "Mule" in 1 of the rare shop in Bangkok that weld aluminium.
Getting out of the plane after a long trip, i was surpise to see two young womens holding on a sign with our names on it. I was first wondering who would be waiting for us over here and for what. It was finally to tell us that some of our luggage would be on the next flight of Asiana airway. I tought my bike had been hold on for a security check because most of the poeples where wondering what was in that strange package we had made for our tandem bike, wrapped with pieces of cardboard we had collected in the back alley of New Westminster in Vancouver, a tarp and a plastic bag provided from the airline company we flew with.

Waiting at the baggage claim of Bangkok international airport, i witness that some where not so lucky and had worst than having there luggage delayed.

Considering the time we arrived and having to wait until 3am for our baggaes to arrive, we spented the night at the airport.

I started to assemble the bike to finally notice something was wrong. The frame has been damage during the trip to Thailand. The frame was torn in the back. I force it a bit trying to realigne it.... The frame cracked and it was a disaster thinking it is very hard to find a shop to weld aluminium in Asia. to be continued.........
